Hello, I am a single mom with four children, three live at home one is living on college campus. MY middle son is Autistic and his father died suicide on his eighth birthday. Our home is in need of repairs that we can not afford even with me working full time it just is not enough. My son showers for long periods of time due to sensory issues it helps him feel better, he also wanders around at night and turns our lites on. I now owe the elctric company 1,700.00 and they are giving me a new monthly payment of 540.00 which I just can't do. The heater in our home is old and shuts off in the middle of the night. We had to use space heaters for the coldest month to keep the pipes from freezing and us as well. Now the bill is even higher. We have a home and are thankful but Im scared even though I have gotten us through so many times I feel I am out of options. There is so much in repairs and we can not afford to pay people to come in and fix things.
